more on this London Olympics logo... [Jun. 5th, 2007|12:41 am]
They have a brand video, about which I'd noticed a few comments on the Guardian website mention "once you see it come on in an animated form, it really comes together..."

No, it doesn't.

Now, however, I can see who they thought they were ripping off; basically every shit "nu-rave" band on XFM who has faux early-90s over-saturated, awful artwork in an attempt to be a bit kitsch and ironic.

It looks like someone stuck a strobe in my cock. I'll look even better in five years when this shit design fad has passed long ago.

Fortunately, the public has struck back with the funny. Firstly, the "Isn't that Lisa Simpson giving Bart head?" interpretation:

[edit]: an even more graphic one, via [info]wrong1 (from b3ta, also, I think):

The more obvious goatse submitted to and briefly featured on the BBC website

More amusing interpretations on b3ta

And a petition to get it changed.

I love being British :)

heh [Jun. 5th, 2007|11:43 am]
My business partner, in asking why I've been a bit behind / not replied to things immediately / require more chasing at the moment quipped that it'd crossed his mind that maybe I was moonlighting on some other project to get a few more quid in.

"No, dude, I just have a baby."

Christ, I wish I had the time or energy for a second job, the problem is pretty much that some days, I don't quite have the time / energy for this one.

Bless 'im.

jam [Jun. 5th, 2007|10:03 pm]
[Music |DeathBoy - Piano Glitch Jam]

not feeling ultra-inspired this evening, but I made something oddly beautiful.

well, according to taste, I suppose.

piano glitch jam - deathboy

as the name implies, it was just me riding the controls live, so there's bits where it doesn't quite work, but I like the contrast of the messy, fuckup beats and the more delicate glitching piano loops.
