Righto, I had better do a serious post about why I would like to do this LJ board thing.

What do you think is the value of LJ?
LJ is the best social networking site (for my tastes). It is imperfect, but for my needs, does everything better than Facebook, Myspace or general Blogging.
What changes would you like to see LJ make in the next year? / What do you think are the community's greatest concerns?
No more spin in LJ newsletters. Plain, simple, no bullshit, please.
Individual copyright control / settings (the ability to flag an LJ and its comments as CC-licensed / Public domain).
LJ should not censor anything that does not clearly break the law. Do not assume the users are criminals.
Kill the clutter: Prevent auto-playing movies/media.
Why do you want to be the elected representative?
I use LJ fairly heavily and it's important to me. I post a fair amount, belong to several communities, run a few, and use it daily. I Basically Care About LJ, No Rly.
About me:
Game programmer, work from home (so I can do meetings / conference calls), online, active and contactable.
I'm a dad, musician, lover of arts and literature, geek, open-minded.
Motivated and vocal. I will speak up, but am approachable. I fess up and fix if I make mistakes.
I possibly care marginally less than the top handful and actually think this is a selling point.

You very rarely see the woman come!

Obviously, now, I must stop to pre-empt the tedious replies of "that's because men always just make sure they come first, sod the woman" - Let's just imagine your big, clever, post-feminist wit chopping my pathetic, flaccid, wang of intellect in two and skip it.
Because, my whole point is that making (/ helping / demanding / helplessly observing) the woman get off is the good bit as far as I'm concerned. Nothing sexier, to my mind - that's why I like the movies from Beautiful Agony and similar, where you see nothing but the face while the lass comes.

Personally, I subscribe to Phallic Solipsism, the idea that my wang is the One True Wang, indeed the only wang that exists. Any other wangs I may see or be told about are actually only facets of the One True Wang. Reflections of its majesty. If you will. So, if I do have to watch wangs in my SCREAMINGLY heterosexual pornography, it's obviously ok because they're basically just echos of the DeathWang, transposed in time and space.
None of which overt hom-dodging would be in the least bit necessary if porn made for and ostensibly by straight blokes didn't have this fixation on COCK.
I know there's lesbian porn made by and for lesbians (as opposed to that made by/for straight blokes) - but I've not encountered any, due to an allergy to dungarees. Does anyone know of any filth genres that really do focus on the lasses enjoying themselves rather than this popular yank fixation on violating them so brutally they look like crying, over-stretched bin-bags?
