Let Me Show You
Further to last night's explorations;
Let Me Show You - DeathBoy (a drug symphony in two parts)
Let Me Show You - DeathBoy (a game that we play)
and, for reference:
Let Me Show You - Advert clip - Natasha Thomas (or here if you can't stomache the Flash and Quicktime)
Let Me Show You - Natasha Thomas
Save Your Kisses - Natasha Thomas
(click the headphone icon, allow the install - it's just trying to load a player that allowed mongrels like me to save off good-quality previews...)
both, apparently, released on the same album in Korea, but not here, where they sacked off the "Let Me Show You" version.
LaCost's PR dept replied to my email about the track saying that the track was "Save your kisses" by Natasha Thomas AND Let Me Show You by Natasha Thomas (NOT AVAILABLE COMMERCIALLY).
I like to think that maybe I take something pure and saccharine, in the dilute form they're like us to swig... and drink it until I can taste where it's really from. Twitchy natureboys with us. The taste of mountains and hills and deep, dark techno thrust and pulsed into our society. Working class beats for the disenfranchised. Breaks for jesus. Electrolucifer set alight and burning bright.
Silly girls. Shouldn't have put the fucking advert online then, should you, eh?
I'm happy because I think I found the haunting dirge that was waiting to be released from the pop bint.
I made something that, when I hear the advert again, I think of my track, not... that travesty.
I dedicate these tracks to John Peel.
Champion of British alternative music.
Rest in peace, John.
